1. What separates Sunrise Landscape and Design from other landscaping
companies?
We have been in business since 1986, for over 20 years. We have an A+
ranking by the BBB, we have numerous certifications, and we receive most of
our work through satisfied customer referrals. Our professionalism, vast
training, education, and experience allow us to help fulfill our customers’
expectations.
2. What's the usual turnaround time for an inquiry about landscape
services?
Our company goal is by the next business day.
3. Why is it so important to produce a good looking landscape on my
property?
It can help maintain or increase the value of your property and help to
utilize every part of your property.
4. Do you warranty your work?
Yes, we stand behind all of the work we perform. Sunrise warranties trees
and shrubs for 1 year, with a onetime replacement. All hardscaping services
are covered for five years. We are interested in a long-term relationship
with our clients.
5. Explain the various payment options that Sunrise offers:
We accept checks, and all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and

We are a full-service landscape management and design/build firm that can

lighting system to enhance your house.
9. Do you do fertilization & insect control?
Yes, for both turf and ornamental trees/shrubs.
10. Will you call Miss Utility for work done by your company or is that
my responsibility?
It is the responsibility of the contractor to contact Miss Utility prior to
the beginning of any work on the property. It is the responsibility of the
homeowner to inform the contractor of other private utilities and
underground lines on the property that Miss Utility will not mark.
11. If I choose to do business with your company, who will be my point of
contact?
Your account manager will be decided upon on Day 1, and they will be your
contact in regards to any service needs. If you hire us for design/build
work you will be assigned to a design consultant to work with you in solving
any landscape problems and improvements you would like to make to your
property.
12. Why is it important to go with a licensed landscaper?
Generally licensed companies are more responsive to your needs and will go
the extra mile to build a long-term relationship that you can count on and
trust to help build value in your property. A licensed contractor has peers
that he has to answer to in order to keep his license. There are educational
requirements as well as quality assurances to keep these licenses and
certifications. Although you may pay more for a licensed contractor, the
question is: is it really more expensive in the long run, if the quality and
value exceed any difference in costs, especially over the course of time?

**Turf and Ornamentals Questions**
1. Should I be concerned about any chemicals used on my lawn by Sunrise?
No, We use only the lowest toxicity herbicides available and the fertilizer
is slow release, which means the fertilizer feeds the lawn slowly. This
process is beneficial to the plant and helps prevent runoff or leaching.
2. Can my kids go out and play on the lawn immediately after chemical
application?
If we have applied any chemical to your landscape, it will be safe for your
children to return to the lawn once the application has dried, which
typically takes one to two hours. If we have applied a granular fertilizer,
you can use the lawn immediately after application. To reduce any confusion
about applications, we will flag your property with a notice regarding what
services have been done and at what time they were completed.
